  • Add more about the Five Wizards (including the role the Blue Wizards played) in the history of The Lord of the Rings document.
  • Add request to please consider buying the books. Although I include some information for the love of Tolkien and his works I don't want to take away from the books with much more information and worth much more (though at reasonable prices).

  • Today is the anniversary of the fall of the Witch-king of Angmar and I have written a document in the new section 'writings' about this: the prophecy and the actual downfall. There is no real commentary on it other than answering what actually happened to him.

  • Dedicated domain for the Tolkien documents with a slight update to the summary above. The name 'tolkienlegendarium.net' refers to the Legendarium which is a word that Tolkien coined for his mythologies. And that probably should be in a FAQ or some such but for now that will do.

  • Fix a reference to 'Stone Giant' to be 'Stone Troll' in the etymology of the Ents in The Lord of the Rings history document. Also updated a few other sections to make them a bit easier to follow and to link to other parts of the history.

  • Added new document: commentary on the History of Middle-earth (more general than the document on the History of The Lord of the Rings); this has various new things including notes on the invention of Hobbits, Balrogs, the plural of Dwarf, Glorfindel in the First Age and Third Age and maybe some other things.
  • Updated the History of The Lord of the Rings document: referencing the new document as well as a few other things (related but also the explanation of the similar name in The Chronicles of Narnia to The Lord of the Rings: the Troll area; it was plagiarism on Lewis' part).
